The first ever Fighttips.com Podcast happened just one hour ago on Justin.tv! It starts off as the founder, Shane (AKA Juno), tests out the live feed and later goes into some questions and talk about embedding the podcast on the forums (which is shot down shortly after the idea is thought of). Check it out, it shows some interesting talk on the future of the site. Well, I’m glad to have witnessed this moment in Fighttips history. Tune in, Write in, Subscribe, to see future podcasts.

Men's Health

Although myself not exactly being a grown man yet, Men’s Health has still been a great source for workouts and other manly information. Check out the celebrity workouts, my favorite is Georges St. Pierre’s workout. Or maybe even check out the 300 workout, if you’re man enough!

This would be me almost a year ago on the Newark JV Wrestling Team. Long hair, a bit chubby, 155 lbs. After a fun and challenging season (maybe not the best I could have been…) I had a record of 2-7 :/ Not very good at all, however I lost 13 lbs getting to 142 at the end of the 4 month season. This is why I have decided to step my game up. Ever since the season I have had a goal of achieving Varsity for atleast one match this season, earning a Varsity Letter. My goals don’t end there for wrestling though:
Gain a Captains spot Junior year.
Place in States the same year.
Win States my Senior year.
Win Beast of The East the same year.
It’s the summer now and school starts in about a month, the season in 3. That’s why I’ve gotten into the gym and worked harder than ever to try get to where I want to be. I’m trying to get to the 132 lb weight class for this season in an attempt to gain Varsity. Currently I’m at 137.9 lbs so I’ve come a long way in the last year. Wish me luck!

Great abdominal series, 3 different levels, what more could you ask for? Subscribe to Passion4Profession on Youtube, they have a wide variety of workout videos in several languages too. Double click and look in description for the 2 higher levels.

Warning: This workout is very intense. You may think it looks easier than it is, but if you aren’t experienced with working out then you will have to work your way up to finishing the whole workout. The ending results are so worth it though. Great workout. Love the Spartan series workouts.

Off-Season Wrestling Workout

This is a pretty nice workout. I’ve been using this for a month as my core workout and it has really shown results since. The only thing is, I modified it to fit my needs, which I think everyone should do for their workouts. But what I did was remove swimming completely because it’s too much work for too little results. I don’t do the ball stabilization or much of the plyometrics except clap push-ups or side box jumps because those aren’t the results I’m looking for. You should also find time to practice techniques. Wrestling isn’t just in the strength, it’s in the form, technique, and experience. Also be sure to read the paragraph at the beginning of the source because it explains rep and set patterns.
